Your thoughts on wording

What are you feelings about the general use of the word “disability” — for example, do you feel that the term “special needs” should be substituted whenever possible?

We prefer to emphasize Ability, as in disAbility.

I’m not crazy about the term “special needs”, because it only focuses on the needs of people with disabilities - not on their talents and skills, or on the many contributions they make. What do others think?
